A.A.A.R. v.1.3.1 for MySql, patch to v1.3

mysql-logoThe released patch for MySql installations is a minor change that could have impact in some cases when you apply A.A.A.R. v.1.3 to a big audit repository on Alfresco, with a relevant history (more than two years).

Many thanks to Senzo Dlamini (Department of Science and Technology) for the contribution and the interesting test case that he shared during past weeks.

Where to download the patch

To download the patch you can simply access to the download page on Google Code.

Content of the installation package

The installation package is simply a zip file containing:

  • The ‘AAAR_Kettle_patch.sql’ script.
  • The ‘readme.txt’ file containing the link to this post.

Howto install the patch

The patch is simply a sql script you have to execute on the AAAR_Kettle database to take effect. To reach that goal you can execute the command below.

mysql –uroot –p<password> < “<patch folder>\AAAR_Kettle_patch.sql”

Now you can execute again the A.A.A.R. in the way you did before.

Further details

The problem solved by the patch has been added to the A.A.A.R.’s FAQ page but for further details or different cases, please contact me.
